koshunokaesa goes along in front of our Jinja(Shrine) main hall from ancient times, and feature of way trace still remains. As main transportation means at the time, relay horse worked important, but it was the biggest difficult place because the ground concerned faced north and was steep grade, and accident of horse did not cut off the back for the snow and freeze in particular for the winter season.
We especially valued here so as to keep important horse which played its part of wage income as well as farming in the same house in many houses. Villager was anxious about losing horse of bread of the life and repeated much gungi. And we did kansei (feelings) in Kyoto "Fushimiinari" to worship "Inari" with relationship to horse in hope of "memorial service and security" and built "the original first place Yamanaka Deguchi Inari Jinja(Shrine)" and naming, small shrine in the present location that was north exit of former Yamanaka village as rich harvest that had miraculous powers, God of business prosperity.
Faith is admired thick by many people of not only country woman but also suburban neighboring villages, too, and deterioration of main shrine advances afterwards, and "Inari" continues up to the present day after several times of extension and/or alteration.
